Have you eaten the Fruit?

The woman stared at the fruit. It looked beautiful and tasty. She wanted the wisdom that it would give her, and she ate some of the fruit. Her husband was there with her, so she gave some to him, and he ate it too. (Genesis 3, vs 6)

The battle we all fight has always started at the root of who we are, our identity! If Satan can make you question your worth, value, your strength, and your knowledge, he can control and change the projection of your life.
Eve ate the apple because she wanted to know more about who she was. She hadn’t walked with the father the same way Adam had to understand who she was called to be. Adam spent time working with the Lord and understanding his calling and his purpose. He named the animals because he understood his job in relation to God’s and therefore he didn’t question what he was created to do.

Eve, on the other hand, didn’t take the time to understand who she was. If she had, she would’ve learned the delicate time it took for God to create her from a sleeping Adam. She would have known that she was natural nurture given the highest position of beginning the population of the earth. She would have known that she was asked for and therefore she was a gift. Something that was loved, cherished, prayed for an anticipated!

Don’t have a conversation with Satan about who you are, go to the source! He will help you learn your identity before you mess up the whole course of your life! Eve changed the whole world because she didn’t know who she was. Don’t think of yourself any smaller. You can change the whole course of your family even your children from a single decision you make when you don’t know who you are.

Today I pray that everyone who reads this is confronted with the truth about who they are. How you were created was exactly how it should be. God made no mistake when he created you. How could he? He said everything he made was GOOD! You are Good, you are more than Good and I hope today you find the strength to realize it!
